NSB Fund Management recently conducted an awareness programme on Treasury Bills and Treasury Bonds for Army officers of the Kurunegala Wehera Regimental Center of the Sri Lanka National Guard.

The session was organized with the objective of enhancing the financial literacy of participants and providing them with a better understanding of government securities as a safe and reliable investment option.

More than 200 army officers attended the programme, where experts from NSB Fund Management explained the key features, benefits, and investment procedures related to Treasury Bills and Bonds. The officers were also briefed on how such investments can contribute to personal financial planning and long-term wealth management.

The initiative is part of NSB Fund Management’s continuous effort to promote awareness on government securities among different sectors of society, thereby supporting the broader goal of encouraging prudent savings and investments in the country.
